When I was a child, my dad told me I would argue with a fence post — and win. I've always had a way with words. 

 

Today, I'm a communication consultant and small business owner. Leah Shafer Communications LLC began in 2016 because I saw my way with words could empower my clients and drive engagement across multiple platforms.

I get results.

I earned my journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin. As part of that, I got interested in digital media and writing for the web. What was entertainment back then has become the cornerstone of my career. I'm an unapologetic generalist with more than 15 years of experience working with clients in a broad range of fields and for dozens of publications.
